Summit Entertainment has just revealed the logo for the third movie, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, coming out June 30, 2010.

I entered a competition online (www.the-sun.co.uk) about Twilight. The question was so easy: Who plays Edward Cullen in Twilight?
Obviously Robert Pattinson!!! There was only 5 winners, whom each won two tickets. So I entered the competition thinking that I wasn't going to win. I entered about 150 times!!! When I got home that day, I checked my e-mails, as I do every night, and there was one e-mail. I opened it and it said:

I was so happy!!! They e-mailed my mum and gave her the details on where to meet Claire Richland (the woman with the tickets) at a bar in Sloane Square.
My mum went in and got the tickets. We then had to drive to Battersey Park to go to the New Moon Fan Party.
I wore a black dress, I wore earrings and make-up.
When we got there, we waited in a very, very long queue. My mum was hungry so she went and got a burger for the two of us. I didn't feel like having my burger so I just put it in my pocket (don't worry, it had a wrapper on!). My mum started chomping on hers. Some body guards came and said whoever has a white wristband to please step out of the queue and walk to the entrance. So me, my mum and some other people all stepped out of the queue and walked down to the entrance. They said that we were going to have to walk on the red carpet. I got so excited. We started to walk on the red carpet and there were cameras flashing everywhere taking pictures of us and the other people. My mum had her mouth full with the burger and was still munching on it. She got a bit embarressed, wrapped her burger up and stuffed it in her pocket. I started laughing my head off. She turned red and that made me laugh even harder. We finally made it to the door and stepped inside... "Oh my GOD!!!!!" I kept screaming that. They said that there were going to be bands playing for us.
"Band of Skulls" played at 7:00 pm.
"The Magic Numbers" played at 7:30 pm.
Here was the moment I had been waiting for... Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart and New Moon director Chris Weitz were finally here!!!!! They all arrived one by one. They came in these big silver cars and there were so many people inside of it! Everybody in the room were screaming at the top of their lungs!! It was amazing! Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner were just as HOT in the flesh!!!!! The presenter read out some questions for the four of them and they all answered honestly, at least we think they did!
Then at 8:30 pm "Daisy Dares You" performed and at 9:00 pm Goldhawks performed.
At 9:50 pm they showed you 10 minutes of New Moon sneak peek clips. When Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) took off his top, everybody screamed!!! And when Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) went topless everybody screamed!!! I think that the New Moon Fan Party was really cool! I really hope I can do it again!
Robert Pattinson has heralded her as the best actress of her generation, and millions would draw blood for a drop of her succes. But instead of lapping up this adoration, Kristen Stewart wished she wasn't famous.
While we'd be RSPV'ing tp every showbiz party in town and going crazy on Rodeo Drive, this 19 year old is a very reluctant superstar.
It's a little inconvenient, then, that her role as Bella Swan is the biggest film franchise since Harry Potter has catapulted Kristen to A-list levels. Her kooky looks and offbeat style (Converse on the red carpe, anyone?) haven't helped her blend into the in-crowd either. She stands miles apart from her contemporaries because she lets her talent do the talking--and that's exactly how she wants it to stay.
"I don't want to be a movie star like Angelina Jolie," she says. "Nothing about being a celebrity is desireable. I'm an actor. It's bizarre to me that everybody's so obsessive."
In fact, the only thing Kristen is fixated about is staying sane. It's fair to say that since becoming the saga's leading lady last year, her life has been flipped upside down. Like co-star Robert, who plays on-screen boyfriend Edward Cullen, the attention from fans is intense, heightened even more by rumours about the nature of their friendship. Whatever the truth, Kristen's clever enough to handle the pressure--and she's figured out pretty quickly that believing the hype is the most dangerous thing a young starlet could do.
"Edward is actually a really good parallel for fame," she says. "As a vampire, he has a sad, desolate life--fame is the same."
Talented, gorunded, and with a mature outlook on life? In Hollywood Kristen is as rare as a Botox-free forehead.
We meet at LA's Four Seasons Hotel where she does an impressive job of being 'normal', arriving with her head bent down and wearing the teen uniform of skinny jeans and a plain tee.
"Fashion is not something I think about," she admits. "I'm not a big shopper. My style is T-shirts. My faveourite ones are my brother's old worn-out ones. I get my shoes form eBay."
Born in LA to parents who both work in the film industry, Kristen;s career began aged eight when an agent saw her in a Christmas play at her school in California. But it was after Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke spotted her on the set of low-budget comedy Adventureland in 2007, that Kristen was catapulted into the big time, playing awkward outsider Bella to perfection.
In New Moon, the second in the Twilight saga, Bella spends most of the film heartbroken after Edward decides that dating a vampire is dangerous for her. So convincing is Kristen's performance, you can't help but wonder whether she drew on her own experience of breaking up with her long-term boyfriend, actor Michael Anagrano, 21, earlier this year.
"The worst thing about a break-up is not losing someone, but being told you're wrong," she says. "You don;t trust yourself any more.
"In the first movie Bella unbashedly followed her guy. Then in the second one, she's like: 'I don't know who I am, I don't know why I've doen any of this because it's been wrong.' And that I can completely relate to."
Being the girl that kisses RPattz, not to mention those rumours, means Kristen doesn't always get a warm reception from fans.
"I can't think of any other movie where people really, really invest in the characters and hold them so closely," she says. "I feel bad, but at the same time no one can hate you just because you're kissing the vampire man."
It's no wonder fans have become "Robssessed" with Pattinson and super-suave, sensitive Edward . But level-headed Kristen is under no illusions that Edward's model of the perfect man does not exist.
"Edward is far from being perfect. He's tortured, brooding, plus he over-thinks and over-analyses. But he's smart."
You and him both, Kristen!
Teens and women old enough to know better swoon at the mere mention of his name. Even Hollywood siren Megan Fox has developed a serious crush, calling the British actor "outrageously attractive". But Ms Fox, 23, had better join the back of the queue because with the launch of New Moon--the second film in the cult Twilight saga--Robert Pattinson's sex symbol stocks are about to go stratospheric.
Not that he would know it, of course. In the flesh, the man who made fangs sexy remains remarkably unaware of the power he wields over women. and that kind of makes us love him more.
"All the screaming is so bizarre," he tells us. "It's a scream of wanting, but I have absolutely no idea what they want. How can I satisfy that? When there are girls standing there trembling and crying, that's a very strange thing to be a part of."
If you're reading this wondering just who the hell the big man with big hair is, we've got to ask--where have you been hiding for the last year?
Star of the blockbuster vampire flick Twilight, the first adaption from Stephenie Meyer's cult novels, Robert, 23, has gone from virtual anonymity to mega-stardom. For those of you who aren't Twi-hard fans, the books resolve around the love story between mortal schoolgirl Bella Swan and brooding 'vegetarian' vampire Edward Cullen.
Since the first film was released last November, the world has gone RPattz crazy--Fabulous included.
So has it all gone to his hair... er, sorry head? Absolutely not. He confesses his sense of style is "terrible", teling us: "I wear the same thing every day. I don't know how to use a washing machine. My body runs off junk food. The funny thing is that people are always disappointed when they recognise me. They're like: "Oh, I thought you were a bum at first..."
So who is the man that has sprawned a thousand hairdos? Born in London to vintage car dealer Richard and model scout Clare, Robert attended the prestigious $14,500-a-year Harrodian School. But he owes his acting career to the Barnes Theatre Company--and his dad's roving eye.
"Dad was in a restaurant and saw a bunch of pretty girls and decided to go up and ask where they'd been. They said they went to this drama club, so he said we'd better go down too!" he laughs.
In 2003, aged 17, he landed his first film role, playing Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire. Acting work was slow to follow--he even became a female hand model because people thought he had womanly hands!--and then came the turning point that changed his life forever. Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke was on the lookout for someone with the right blend of intensity, sensitivity and brooding good looks to play Edward to perfection. After seeing Harry Potter, she thought he was ideal. He didn't.
"I said to my manager: 'I can't do that thing where someone comes up behind you and you look scared,'" he explains. "And he said: 'What? Acting?' And I was like: 'That's it! I can't do that!'"
But everyone else thinks he can--and they love him for it. The Twilight premiere in New York last year was frenzied. At another personal appearance, fights broke out--one fan had her nose broken. Robert has been approached on the street by girls who have drawn blood from their necks and he was even hit by a taxi in New York trying to flee a flock of smitten fans.
Unbelievably, he says: "Girls scream for Edward, not Robert. I still can't get a date!"
In fact, Robert says he's a dating disaster zone.
"It's weird. If you try and chat people up, everyone's like: 'You're an actor. You probably sleep with everybody.' Fame does the opposite of what you'd expect," he says.
And it seems Robert doesn't help himself, admitting he crumbles when he meets a girl he likes--just like his Twilight character.
"Edward really liked Bella, felt a connection, but held back. I do it so many times too," he admits. "Whenever I like someone subconsciously I think: 'Don't like me. I'm a d*ck.'"
Ever the gentleman, Robert is also concerned about the attention a girlfriend of his would have to deal with. Bless.
"I'm worried for their sake," he admits. "Especially if they're not famous. It's weird I have to think about that."
Such a comment only adds further fuel to the rumours that his relationship with co-star Kristen Stewart, 19, who plays Bella, is more than just professional. Earlier this year they were spotted in a clinch at a Kings Of Leon concert (the band is one of their shared loves, as are Camel Lights), enjoying an intimate dinner after the MTV Movie Awards in June, and then cosying up for three nights in August at Rob's suite in LA's Chateau Marmont after being reunited following a summer apart.
For ever-relaxed Robert, such rumours are simply "ridiculous and bizarre" and he insists they're "just really great friends".
So what attributes would Robert's idea girl have?
"I don't have a type," he says. "I like it when people aren't afraid to express themselves about what they wear and how they behave."
Kooky dress sense and opinionated? Hmm sounds like a certain Twilight actress we know...
Yup, you read that right! It’s blistering hot in LA, and we’re in one of the swankiest hotels in the uber-posh Beverly Hills area of the city. Celebs crowd around the pool, and the lobby is full of Paris Hilton types.
We head upstairs to wait for Taylor. He’s running late because his car got a flat tyre on the way over, but after a 12-hour flight, a few more minutes waiting for his hotness is no big deal.
Finally, it’s Taylor time! Oh man. Those eyes—they’re just as dark, gorgeous and deep as Stephenie Meyer described Jacob Black’s. He’s wearing dark jeans, Nike shoes, a black T-shirt and a grey cardigan, and his hair is spiked up to perfection. He has a slightly scary-looking PR person in tow, working a power suit and carrying the kind of handbag that we’d have to save up for five Christmasses to afford.
The thing you first notice about Taylor is that he likes to laugh. A lot. He doesn’t seem nervous, so it’s easy to forget that he’s only 17 and actually, this is kinda crazy for someone so young to deal with. He’s certainly more mature than most lads his age. Maybe it’s because he’s famous, maybe it’s because he’s hot. Perhaps Hollywood makes you grow up fast. Who knows? But he seems like a mellow, chilled out, happy sort of guy. He’s here to charm us, and he does his job to perfection.
Amazing to meet you, Taylor! Apart from beefing up that body of yours, what was the biggest change for you from Twilight to New Moon?
“Jacob’s role continues where it started in Twilight for the first half of the movie, but then I transform into a wolf and it all goes downhill from there! [Big laugh] I become a totally different person, which is good because it’s challenging and I like that.”
What was the atmosphere like on set?
“Oh, it was tons of fun. We all get along really well, and we definitely felt more comfortable on this one. We were all excited to be back to work, then we had eight weeks off, and now we’re back at work on Eclipse!”
Did you have fans trying to sneak on set this time around?
“I was actually surprised. The Twilight set was a lot different to the New Moon set. Because no one really knew what Twilight was before, we didn’t have fans flying in from Germany and Australia. This time, some actually got onto the set. They’d come to base camp and say, ‘Oh, I’m friends with Nikki Reed,’ and somehow they got let in and snuck up onto the set. They’re quite a range of ages! [Big laugh]”
Is it true that fans ask you to growl at them?
“A few…”
Do you oblige?
“I did once, but it was extremely embarrassing so I never did it again! It came out badly so I was like, ‘You know what, I’m sorry but you’re just going to have to wait for the film.’”
How did the vibe on set compare to Twilight?
“It was a little different for the first few weeks, but it’s been great to have the opportunity to work with different directors and see their contrasting styles. I’d say Catherine [Hardwicke, who directed the last film] is more spontaneous, she was a lot of fun on set. Chris [Weitz, New Moon director] is definitely more internal and thinks about things, he meets with us and writes us letters. Now we have David Slade, so I can’t wait to get to know him.”
What was your least favourite bit of New Moon?
“I didn’t even get the chance to go to Italy with the rest of the cast” Jacob and the wolves hang out in the Pacific Northwest. They don’t go to Europe!”
Who are you closest to in the cast?
“I honestly can’t pick just one person. If you asked me to make a list, I’s probably go through the whole cast. We all get on really great, on set and off. I don’t know how we’d do this series if we weren’t so close. That’s why we were so looking forward to Eclipse, because we get to hang out together again.”
Jacob and the wolf pack are telepathic. Would you like to be able to read your mate’s mind?
“I think I’d say yes, but I’m sure I’d change my mind later! I’d be like, ‘Yeah, of course.’ And then it’d be too much information! Edward actually deals with that all the time in Eclipse. He’s always reading Jacob’s mind and he can’t help it. He’s reading Jacob being in love with Bella, and he wishes he could block Jacob out but he can’t. So I’m sure it would become quite annoying.”
Do your mates treat you any differently now you’re famous?
“Luckily, they’re still the same, they’re all very supportive.”
Do some people try to be your friend just because of Twilight?
“I haven’t really noticed, but I’m sure it has happened a lot.”
Could you cope with being immortal, like Edward?
“I don’t know. Maybe!”
Which is your favourite book of the saga?
“Probably Eclipse, because it’s the highest point of the love triangle, when the three of them are together and there are a lot of funny scenes. I’m not the biggest reader, but I really enjoyed the series and I’ve read it a couple of times.”
Can you imagine life after Twilight?
“I haven’t even started to think about that yet. It’s a ride and I’m enjoying every moment of it.”
